The last of the Mahicans
it is so amazing that the end of wwi was signed exactly 100 years ago!
and in just a few more hours, at 11:00am on 11 november 2018, paris time, the combat actually stopped!
(the war wasn´t officially over until 1919).it is such a historic moment, for the entire world, but also for jw´s, and for exjw´s.for almost the entire length of the war, the witnesses thought that the war was the prelude to armageddon.
Yes the generation that would never pass away.....is passing away.
how many here have been active here on this site in the the last seven days?.
No hidden motive.
"Just yes I've been here." seems simple.
You know checking who the regulars are.
Since no one knows your real names (and I'm not asking for them) how can you have "fear and paranoia" about being found out?
So my saying yes I have been here, how is this helping people find out who you really are....I really don't understand.
there have been many but i had a total melt down at the end of sophie's choice.
i hadn't cried in years before i saw that movie in in 1982. i was still very much a jw at the time.
i have no idea where the pain and sorrow came from, maybe it was the fact there are things people have gone through that we have defied all reason logic.

i think there will be a change in the 144000 belief.
too many witnesses think they have a heavenly hope.
maybe 1914 will be discarded too.. what is your watchtower prediction?
The next "new light" will be that most the people killed at Armageddon will be resurrected. I was all a big joke and Jehovah will give almost everybody a second chance.
That would test their humility.
... filling in holes in my cds.
give me composer, work, key if possible.
Of course Clair Dune. I want it played at my funeral along with . Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Op.43 my Sergei Rachmaninoff.
well i have been out since 1975 ( 14 years in) and have never looked back.
my hubby was a jw ( active and inactive) as was his active mom and sister.
later his dad joined and his sister got married to a jw.
I think your story says it all. The truth about the truth.
The bodies are piling up in god's loving organization.
this is a subject that the wt has covered many times.
it uses the example of human feelings as a basis to understand god.. for instance: under the heading "does god notice you?
", it goes into great detail of about what a woman feels when she bonds with her child.
Yes we are god's children and I would consider everyone on the planet god's children.
So since god's children have acted poorly (according to the Jehovah' Witnesses that is) god is getting ready to destroy billions of his children. Basically 99.99% of everyone living on the planet.
This really doesn't sound like an all powerful god but a sick psychotic parent.
i find that the people here speak in a way i can understand because we have one thing in common if nothing else.
so my question is , would it be easier to date someone that has been a jw and woke up or not?.
i would love for someone to 'get it' without having to explain much.
It's nice but not essential I have dated quit a bit since leaving the Jehovah's Witnesses over the 17 years, I had two long term relationships in that time period (one was 3 and one 4 years long) neither women knew anything about the Jehovah Witnesses. One of them was raised as a Mormon but not practicing. That was interesting.
I'm currently "dating" a born in ex-JW woman I knew forty years ago. She left way back in the nineteen eighties. We get a long very well.
I guess love is were you find it. So finding an Ex-JW could be nice it's not imperative.
